Superintendent/Principal

Mid Level

The Board of Education of Republic-Michigamme Public Schools  is conducting a
comprehensive search for its next Superintendent/Principal.

Tucked into the tranquil heart of Marquette County, Republic, Michigan, is a picturesque community that perfectly balances a storied industrial past with a serene, nature-focused present. While the town remains proud of its iron mining roots and the grit of the generations who shaped the region, it has evolved into a welcoming, tight-knit enclave that optimizes true “U.P. charm.”  Residents enjoy a natural playground defined by the winding Michigamme River, the crystal-clear waters of Perch Lake, and the miles of vibrant hiking trails, creating a harmonious environment where history and the great outdoors meet. It is an ideal setting for a leader who values community connection, historical legacy, and an unparallel quality of life amidst the beauty of the Upper Peninsula.
